Interpreter - French/English



We are in need of a skilled and professional Interpreter who can fluently speak both French and English to join our team in La Condamine. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals or groups who speak different languages.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret verbal communication from French to English and vice versa accurately and efficiently.
- Provide simultaneous interpretation during meetings, conferences, or other events.
- Translate written documents from French to English and ensure accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
- Serve as a cultural liaison between parties to ensure understanding and avoid misunderstandings.
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
- Research terminology specific to the subject matter to ensure accurate interpretation.

Requirements:
- Fluency in both French and English with excellent comprehension and communication skills.
- Proven experience as an interpreter or similar role is preferred but not required.
- In-depth knowledge of cultural differences between French and English speaking countries.
- Strong research skills with the ability to quickly understand complex topics.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
- Excellent listening skills with the ability to accurately convey messages in both languages.

Benefits:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month. We also offer free visa sponsorship and round-trip tickets for our employees. However, accommodation will not be provided.
