Part-Time Typesetter

We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team on a part-time basis in La-Condamine. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for various print and digital materials such as books, magazines, and websites. This position offers flexible hours and includes accommodation for non-local candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare text and images for publication by selecting appropriate fonts, sizes, and layouts
- Check spelling, grammar, and punctuation to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to create visually appealing documents
- Utilize software programs such as Adobe InDesign to typeset materials
- Make necessary revisions based on feedback from team members or clients
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign or other typesetting software
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients

Salary: $1700 per month (based on part-time hours)

Location: La-Condamine (accommodation provided)
