Job Title: Typesetter for Print and Digital Media



We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team in La-Condamine. As a Typesetter, you will play a crucial role in creating and formatting content for both print and digital media. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that all text, images, and graphics are properly laid out and formatted according to client or company specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Format and typeset text, images, and graphics for print materials such as books, magazines, newspapers, and brochures
- Prepare digital content for online publications such as websites, e-books, and e-newsletters
- Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure that the layout is visually appealing and meets client requirements
- Use software programs such as Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress to manipulate text and images
- Proofread final layouts to identify any errors or inconsistencies
- Ensure that all files are prepared for print or online publication according to industry standards

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Typesetter in both print and digital media
- In-depth knowledge of layout principles, typography, color theory, and design aesthetics
- Proficient in using software programs such as Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Excellent attention to detail with strong proofreading skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
