Tiler Technician

A tiler technician is a skilled professional responsible for installing and repairing various types of tiles in residential and commercial settings. They must have experience working with different materials such as ceramic, porcelain, marble, and mosaic tiles. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in tile installation and be able to read blueprints and follow design plans.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
- Cut, shape, and install tiles according to design plans
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning and leveling them
- Mix and apply adhesives to secure tiles in place
- Grout, seal, and polish surfaces after tile installation
- Repair or replace damaged or cracked tiles
- Ensure proper alignment of tiles for a professional finish

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in tile installation
- Ability to read blueprints and follow design plans accurately
- Proficient in using hand tools such as cutters, spacers, trowels, etc.
- Knowledge of different tile materials and their properties
- Good physical strength and stamina for lifting heavy materials
- Attention to detail for precise measurements and alignment of tiles

Preferred:
- Experience working with biometric passports preferred but not required
- Previous experience with contract jobs preferred but not required
Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: La-Condamine (accommodation provided)
Contract Type: Full-time

Education: High school diploma or equivalent
