Turner (Urgent Contract Position)


We are seeking a skilled Turner to join our team in La-Condamine on an urgent contract basis. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision metal parts. You will work with a variety of materials including steel, aluminum, and titanium to fabricate components for machines, equipment, and other structures.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project specifications
- Set up and operate machine tools to perform precision machining operations
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed for quality control
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure efficient operation
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and find solutions
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or similar role
- Experience working with various materials including steel, aluminum, and titanium
- In-depth knowledge of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong mathematical skills for precise measurements
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Good physical stamina as the role involves standing for extended periods of time

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in La-Condamine.
