Job Title: Metal Worker

We are hiring a skilled Metal Worker to join our team in La-Condamine. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal structures and equipment using various tools and techniques. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape metal pieces using hand tools or machines such as shears, saws, and presses
- Weld or solder components together to assemble structures or repair damaged parts
- Use grinders, sanders, and other finishing tools to smooth and polish metal surfaces
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making any necessary adjustments or repairs
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the workshop area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working with potentially hazardous materials

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Metal Worker in a similar role
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques such as cutting, welding, bending, and polishing
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in English (French language skills are a plus)
- Valid work permit or visa for working in La-Condamine (visa sponsorship available for international candidates)
