Heritage Preservation Architect
As a Heritage Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. You will use your expertise in architectural design and historic preservation to ensure that the integrity and character of these structures are maintained. Your duties will include conducting site surveys, creating preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects. You will also collaborate with other professionals such as engineers, historians, and contractors to ensure that preservation guidelines are followed.
To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in architecture or historic preservation and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field. You should have a strong understanding of historical architecture styles and materials, as well as knowledge of building codes and regulations related to preservation. Excellent communication skills are also essential as you will be working with different stakeholders including clients, government agencies, and community organizations.
This is a contract position located in La-Condamine but may require occasional travel to different project sites. The salary for this position is $1400 per month without accommodation provided. Candidates with biometric passports will be given preference.
