Preservation Architect (Part-Time)
A prestigious architectural firm in La Condamine is seeking a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, ensuring their longevity and integrity for future generations to enjoy.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of historic buildings and structures
- Develop restoration plans and proposals, taking into consideration the historical significance of the site
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the preservation work is carried out accurately and efficiently
- Oversee the construction process to ensure compliance with preservation standards
- Monitor the progress of restoration projects and make adjustments as needed
- Provide expert advice on preservation techniques, materials, and technologies
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in preservation techniques
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Preservation Architect or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of historic preservation principles, practices, and standards
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with a team
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
This position offers a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for part-time work. Please note that this is not a full-time position and accommodation will not be provided.
