We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team at our store in La Condamine. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Your main duties will include scanning items, handling payments, and issuing receipts and change. The ideal candidate should have excellent math skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not necessary. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1400 per month without accommodation. Only candidates with own visa will be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Scan items and process payments using cash registers or POS systems
- Ensure accurate pricing of products and apply discounts or promotions as necessary
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Keep track of inventory levels and inform the supervisor when supplies need to be ordered
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations of the store

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not necessary
- Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash accurately
- Strong communication skills in English or French (bilingualism is an asset)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
