Contract Restaurant Manager
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant located in La-Condamine. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing a restaurant, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including food preparation, customer service, inventory management, and staff scheduling
- Train and supervise staff members to ensure high-quality service and maintain standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
- Monitor expenses and budget to ensure profitability
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with the executive chef to develop menus that meet customer needs while maintaining cost efficiency
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Strong business acumen with the ability to manage budgets
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Flexibility in terms of working hours
- Fluency in English (French proficiency is a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field
Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
