Head Chef
As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation. Located in the beautiful city of La-Condamine, our restaurant is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus that reflect seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Manage inventory and order supplies to maintain stock levels
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation to maintain our high standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment according to health codes
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and pricing decisions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
