Head Pastry Chef
As the Head Pastry Chef at our high-end restaurant in La-Condamine, you will be responsible for creating and executing our pastry menu. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef with a passion for creating unique and delicious desserts to join our team.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations
- Creativity and ability to develop new and innovative dessert offerings
- Strong leadership skills to manage a team of pastry chefs and kitchen staff
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory, orders, and schedules
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the restaurant's pastry menu, including seasonal changes.
- Create new desserts that incorporate local flavors and ingredients.
- Train and manage a team of pastry chefs to ensure consistency in quality.
- Oversee the production of all pastries, including baking, decorating, plating, and packaging.
- Manage inventory levels for all pastry ingredients and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus that balance savory dishes with desserts.
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per week for this full-time position.
