Pastry Chef
We are in search of a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in La-Condamine. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods for our restaurant. This role requires strong knowledge and experience in pastry making techniques, as well as the ability to develop new and innovative recipes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to recipes or customer orders
- Create new and unique pastry dishes that meet the restaurant's standards
- Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings, and other creative techniques
- Monitor inventory levels for pastry ingredients and supplies
- Ensure all food safety standards are met while preparing and storing pastries
- Train junior pastry chefs on proper techniques and recipes
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of different pastry making techniques and recipes
- Creativity and ability to develop new dessert ideas that align with the restaurant's concept
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Diploma from a culinary school or relevant certification is preferred
Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: La-Condamine (Preference for local candidates but open to all nationalities)
