Entry-Level Back-End Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Entry-Level Back-End Developer to join our growing team in Fonvieille, Monaco. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coding and a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

As an Entry-Level Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the back-end functionality of our web applications. This includes writing clean, efficient code, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and collaborating with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of the front-end and back-end systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Write clean, efficient code in Python or Java
- Develop and maintain server-side web application logic
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing code
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability and security
- Implement data storage solutions using databases such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry developments

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Proficiency in Python or Java programming languages
- Familiarity with web development frameworks such as Django or Spring Boot
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
