Back-End Developer - Fonvieille, Monaco


We are a fast-growing tech startup in the heart of Fonvieille, Monaco seeking a highly skilled and experienced Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex and scalable server-side applications to support our company's growth.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop efficient and secure server-side applications using languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Optimize application performance by conducting regular code reviews and implementing efficient algorithms
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebases
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing proper authentication and authorization methods
- Continuously research new technologies and practices to improve the scalability, stability, and functionality of our applications

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in at least one back-end programming language (Java, Python, Ruby)
- Experience with web development frameworks such as Spring Boot or Django
- Familiarity with front-end languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus
- Understanding of database design principles and experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
