Database Administrator (Contract with accommodation) - Fonvieille


We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Fonvieille on a contract basis with accommodation provided. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the performance, integrity, and security of our company's databases. You will work closely with our development and IT teams to ensure that our databases meet the needs of our organization.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and upgrade database software and related products
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Develop backup and recovery plans to ensure data is protected in case of system failures
- Ensure data integrity by regularly performing data audits and implementing necessary corrections or adjustments
- Collaborate with development team to design, implement, and maintain efficient database structures
- Work closely with IT team to ensure databases are properly integrated with other systems
- Keep up-to-date with emerging database technologies and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, security protocols, and performance monitoring tools
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.

Accommodation:
Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.

Location:
This position is based in Fonvieille. While we prefer candidates who are already located in Fonvieille or nearby areas, we welcome applicants from other locations who are willing to relocate for the duration of the contract.
