Moderator - Event Management Assistant
We are seeking a motivated and organized Moderator to join our team in Fonvieille, a charming coastal city in the beautiful country of Monaco. As a Moderator - Event Management Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with event planning and coordination, as well as moderating discussions and managing participants during events.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with event planning and coordination, including venue selection, catering arrangements, and budget management
- Moderate discussions and manage participants during events, ensuring a positive and respectful atmosphere
- Coordinate with speakers, sponsors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution of events
- Prepare event materials such as agendas, presentations, and handouts
- Manage registration process for events and handle any inquiries or issues from participants
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
- Provide administrative support to the event management team
Requirements:
- Proven experience in event planning or moderation preferred
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (knowledge of French is a plus)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management or related field preferred
