Junior Metal Worker
Location: Fonvieille, France
We are currently hiring a Junior Metal Worker to join our team in Fonvieille, France. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting senior metal workers in fabricating and assembling metal structures using various tools and techniques. This is an entry-level position, suitable for individuals with some experience in metalworking or related fields.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior metal workers in measuring and cutting materials according to specifications
- Operate hand and power tools to shape, bend, and weld metal pieces
- Assemble metal parts using various fastening methods such as screws, rivets, or welding
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following company safety protocols
- Learn and develop new skills through on-the-job training
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Some experience in metalworking or a related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools used in metalworking
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods of time
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges
