Preservation Architect


We are seeking a talented Preservation Architect to join our team in Fonvieille on a contract basis. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic structures, ensuring their longevity and cultural significance. This role requires experience in architectural design, project management, and knowledge of preservation techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate the condition of historic buildings
- Develop preservation plans and proposals for restoration projects
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to oversee restoration projects
- Ensure compliance with local and national preservation regulations
- Utilize 3D modeling software to create detailed designs and plans for restoration projects
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet project goals within budget constraints
- Research historical documents, materials, and techniques to inform preservation strategies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design and preservation projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other 3D modeling software
- Knowledge of preservation techniques and regulations
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Salary: $1700 per month
