Architectural Designer

We are hiring an experienced Architectural Designer to join our team in Fonvieille, France. As an Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for creating and designing functional and aesthetically pleasing buildings and structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles, building codes, and construction materials. You must also have a keen eye for detail and be able to effectively communicate your ideas to clients and team members. This is a contract position with competitive salary and accommodation provided. Candidates must have their own visa or be eligible to work in France.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and design needs
- Develop conceptual designs and present them to clients for approval
- Create detailed drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Ensure designs comply with building codes, regulations, and zoning laws
- Select appropriate materials for construction based on functionality, durability, and cost
- Communicate with contractors during the construction process to ensure design specifications are met

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Architectural Designer
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and zoning laws
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English (written and verbal)
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Experience working on residential projects
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
