Cashier - Fonvieille, Monaco


We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team in Fonvieille, Monaco. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling all monetary transactions in our store and providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly manner and assist them with their purchases
- Process cash, credit, and debit card payments accurately and efficiently
- Maintain correct cash balances at all times and reconcile sales receipts
- Keep accurate records of daily transactions and report any discrepancies to the supervisor
- Ensure that the checkout area is clean and well-stocked with necessary supplies
- Answer customers' questions regarding prices, products, availability, etc.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service
- Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels as needed

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently while maintaining high levels of integrity
- Proficiency in using electronic Point of Sale (POS) systems preferred but not required
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed

Salary: 1100$ per month (paid on a weekly basis)

Contract job: This is a contract position with no guarantee of ongoing employment.

Experience required: 1 year of cashier or related experience is preferred.
