Executive Chef at Luxury Resort in Fonvieille
We are a luxury resort located in the beautiful city of Fonvieille and we are seeking a talented Executive Chef to join our team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our dining experience, from menu creation to food preparation and presentation. You will work closely with our kitchen staff to ensure that every dish is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and delicious menus that showcase local ingredients
- Train and manage kitchen staff to maintain high levels of food quality and consistency
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including portion control, plating, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special events or themed dinners
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a luxury setting
- Passion for creating exceptional culinary experiences
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Ability to create menus that cater to a variety of dietary restrictions or preferences
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting
