Head Chef
We are in need of an experienced and skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at our esteemed restaurant in Fonvieille. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. Your main goal will be to ensure that our customers receive high-quality meals that meet their expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Oversee food preparation and cooking, ensuring quality and consistency
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety procedures
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality
- Collaborate with management to plan special events or promotions
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, recipes, and culinary trends
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to effectively delegate tasks and communicate with staff and management
- A passion for creating delicious dishes using fresh, local ingredients
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this full-time position. Benefits may also be available.
Location:
Our restaurant is located in the beautiful city of Fonvieille on the coast of France. Candidates who are already located in or willing to relocate to Fonvieille are preferred.
