Executive Chef
We are in search of an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at our high-end restaurant in Fonvieille. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. Your creativity and passion for culinary excellence will be showcased through your innovative and delicious dishes, while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new menu items and ensure they align with the restaurant's concept and brand
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection and presented beautifully
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts and providing feedback on performance
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations throughout the restaurant
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to create unique dishes while also executing classic dishes flawlessly
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Creative thinker with a passion for food and an eye for detail
Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Fonvieille (open to candidates of any nationality)
