Instrument Technician

As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various types of instruments and control systems. These systems may include pneumatic, electronic, and digital instruments used in industrial processes. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that instruments are functioning properly and meeting necessary specifications. Your duties may also include calibrating instruments, documenting maintenance activities, and ordering replacement parts as needed. The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong understanding of electronics and instrumentation principles, as well as experience working with various types of industrial equipment. This is a full-time position located in Fonvieille, with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Install new instruments and control systems according to engineering specifications
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in existing instruments
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy
- Document all maintenance activities in a detailed manner
- Order replacement parts as needed
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians on projects
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment using technical manuals and diagnostic tools
- Maintain a safe work environment at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Strong understanding of electronics and instrumentation principles
- Experience working with pneumatic, electronic, and digital instruments
- Experience troubleshooting issues with industrial equipment
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred:
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience working in the oil or gas industry
- Knowledge of HSE regulations
