Crane Operator (Contract)


We are in need of an experienced Crane Operator to join our team on a contract basis in Fonvieille. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to move and lift materials, equipment, and products on construction sites or other work sites. Your main tasks will include inspecting and maintaining the crane, operating the controls to lift and move materials, and communicating with ground crew to ensure safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect crane before each use to ensure proper functioning and safety
- Operate crane controls to lift, move, and position materials as directed
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or radio communication
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the crane
- Monitor load weight and adjust as needed
- Keep accurate records of materials lifted and hours worked
- Perform routine maintenance on the crane as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator (minimum 2 years)
- Valid Crane Operator certification or license (depending on local requirements)
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities
- Ability to read and understand load charts
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to crane operation
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail with strong focus on safety at all times

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1800 per month for this contract position.
