Job Title: Pastry Chef at a Luxury Hotel in Monaco
The Pastry Chef will be responsible for creating and executing a variety of pastry dishes and desserts for the luxury hotel in Fonvieille, Monaco. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pastry and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-end environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create and present high-quality pastry dishes and desserts according to established recipes and standards
- Oversee all aspects of the pastry kitchen, including ordering ingredients, managing inventory, and maintaining equipment
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and assistants
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new menu items and special event menus
- Ensure food safety regulations are followed at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
- Degree or certification from a reputable culinary school preferred
- Strong knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a positive manner
- Attention to detail with an eye for presentation
- Fluent in English (knowledge of French is preferred)
