Job Title: Pastry Chef at a High-End Restaurant in Monaco
We are in search of a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Fonvieille, Monaco. As the Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing the dessert menu, as well as overseeing all pastry operations in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
-Design and develop creative and visually appealing dessert menu items
-Prepare and present desserts according to menu specifications
-Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
-Train and manage other pastry chefs and kitchen staff
-Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients
-Adhere to all food safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
-Degree or certification in culinary arts or pastry-making preferred
-Knowledge of various dessert techniques, including baking, chocolate work, and plating
-Familiarity with food safety regulations
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a team effectively
-Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
-Creativity and attention to detail
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month, based on experience and qualifications.
