Job Title: Pastry Chef at Luxury Hotel in Monaco
Our hotel in Monaco is seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries and desserts for our guests. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to develop menus, manage inventory and supplies, and ensure the highest quality of food and service.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute dessert menus that reflect the hotel's high standards
- Prepare and present pastries, cakes, breads, and other desserts for various events
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure availability
- Train and supervise pastry staff to maintain consistency in quality and presentation
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new dishes that cater to dietary restrictions or preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to health and safety standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
- In-depth knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, equipment, and recipes
- Ability to create visually appealing desserts while maintaining excellent taste
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and develop staff
- Attention to detail with excellent time management skills
- Creativity and passion for constantly developing new recipes
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French is an asset
Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
