Entry Level Baker


We are a renowned bakery in the beautiful city of Fonvieille, known for our delectable pastries and freshly baked goods. We are currently seeking an Entry Level Baker to join our talented team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about baking and looking to start their career in the pastry industry.

As an Entry Level Baker, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced bakers in various tasks such as mixing, shaping, and baking dough, as well as decorating and packaging finished products. While no prior experience is required for this role, we do prefer candidates who have a basic understanding of baking techniques and can follow recipes accurately.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing doughs and batters according to recipes
- Shape and mold dough into desired forms
- Bake products in accordance with established timeframes and temperatures
- Decorate pastries with icing, glazes, or other toppings
- Package finished products for display or sale
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and kitchen area
- Follow all food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene

Requirements:
- No prior experience required but a basic understanding of baking techniques is preferred
- Passion for baking and willingness to learn from experienced bakers
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and work with precision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina as the job may involve standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be legally authorized to work in Fonvieille

We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month along with opportunities for growth within the company. As this is a contract position, accommodation will not be provided. However, we can provide recommendations for affordable housing options in the area.
