Junior Network and Systems Administrator


We are seeking a motivated and highly skilled Junior Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Greenland. As a member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading our network and computer systems. This is an entry-level position, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups and updates
- Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support
- Assist with implementing security measures to protect network and systems
- Collaborate with other IT team members to develop solutions for complex issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware)
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred:
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
- Certifications such as CCNA or MCSA are highly desired

Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on qualifications)
