Network and Systems Administrator

The Network and Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and improving the network and systems infrastructure of our organization in Greenland. This is a part-time position with a salary of 1000$, perfect for individuals looking to supplement their income. The ideal candidate should have experience in network and systems administration, with knowledge of biometric passport systems being an added advantage.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor all network activity, identify potential security risks, and implement appropriate solutions.
- Maintain network hardware, software, and other equipment, ensuring proper functioning at all times.
- Troubleshoot any network or system issues that may arise and provide timely resolutions.
- Implement updates, upgrades, and patches to improve the performance of the network and systems.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email accounts, and other access control measures.
- Ensure data backups are performed regularly and securely stored.
- Provide technical support to employees regarding network connectivity or system usage.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements to the current infrastructure.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role.
- Knowledge of biometric passport systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP) and routing/switching configurations.
- Experience with virtualization, cloud computing, firewalls, VPNs, and other network security measures.
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems and server administration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with team members.
