Computer Support Specialists
Help Desk Technician
A growing IT company in Greenland is seeking a Help Desk Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting services to our clients, ensuring their computer systems and software are running smoothly. This is a contract position with the opportunity for visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding technical issues
- Provide remote support and troubleshooting for software, hardware, and network problems
- Install and configure computer systems, applications, and peripherals
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to resolve complex technical issues
- Stay up-to-date on new technology trends and advancements in the industry
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems, networking concepts, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Prior experience in a help desk or technical support role is a plus but not required
Working Conditions:
This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment. The salary for this role is $1600 per month. As a growing company, there may be opportunities for career advancement. Our office is located in the heart of Greenland's capital city. While prior experience is preferred, we are willing to train candidates who demonstrate strong technical aptitude.
