Job Title: Entry-level Information Security Analyst



We are seeking a highly motivated Entry-level Information Security Analyst to join our team in Greenland. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting our company's digital assets by implementing security measures and managing security incidents. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze network traffic and system logs for security incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption tools
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Investigate security breaches and provide recommendations for remediation
- Conduct regular security awareness training for employees
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Knowledge of information security principles and best practices
- Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption tools, vulnerability assessment tools
- Ability to conduct technical analysis of network traffic and system logs
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred:
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Experience working in a security-related role or internship
- Knowledge of industry regulations such as GDPR or HIPAA

Salary: 1800$

Location: Greenland (visa sponsorship available)
