Data-mining Research Analyst

As a Data-mining Research Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends. Using various data mining tools and techniques, you will extract valuable insights and present them in a clear and concise manner. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Previous experience in data mining is preferred but not required. This is a full-time position based in Greenland with a starting salary of $1400 per month. Accommodation is not provided, so candidates must have their own housing arrangements.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on various data sources to gather relevant information
- Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Utilize data mining software/tools to extract valuable insights from large datasets
- Analyze and interpret data to identify patterns, trends, and correlations
- Create visualizations and reports to present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement or further analysis
- Stay updated on new data mining techniques and tools to enhance performance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail
- Experience with data mining software/tools (e.g., Python, R) is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of statistical methods such as regression analysis or machine learning algorithms is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in an easy-to-understand format
- Team player with the ability to work independently when needed
- Willingness to learn new tools and techniques as needed
