Job Title: Interpreter - Greenland



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interpreter to join our team in Greenland. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals or groups who speak different languages. Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services for meetings, conferences, and other events
- Assist with translation of written documents as needed
- Accurately convey the meaning and tone of original messages between languages
- Maintain confidentiality and neutrality in all interactions
- Collaborate with other interpreters to ensure continuity and accuracy in communication
- Continuously develop knowledge of relevant terminology and cultural nuances
- Handle any technical equipment necessary for interpretation, such as headsets or microphones

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an interpreter or similar role
- Fluency in at least two languages, including English and Greenlandic
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to adapt to various situations
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism
- Biometric passport preferred (or ability to obtain one)
- Valid work permit for Greenland (if applicable)
