Interpreter - Part Time

We are seeking a skilled Interpreter to join our team in Greenland. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. This is a part-time position with a salary of $1600 per month, without accommodation provided.

Requirements:
- Fluency in at least two languages, including English and Greenlandic
- Previous experience as an interpreter is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations
- Strong cultural competency and understanding of different customs and traditions

Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services for meetings, conferences, and events
- Accurately convey messages between speakers of different languages using simultaneous or consecutive interpretation techniques
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Prepare for assignments by researching relevant terminology and familiarizing yourself with the subject matter
- Communicate with clients to clarify any language barriers or special accommodations needed
