Locksmith Technician


As a Locksmith Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing locks and security systems for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Your duties will include creating and duplicating keys, installing new locks, repairing damaged locks, and troubleshooting security system malfunctions. You must have strong technical knowledge of various lock types and security systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in locksmithing and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. This full-time position offers a salary of $1100 per month in the beautiful city of Greenland.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair locks on doors, windows, safes, and other entry points
- Create duplicate keys using key-cutting machines
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with electronic or mechanical locking systems
- Consult with clients to determine their security needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Install and maintain security systems such as alarms, surveillance cameras, and access control systems
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used
- Provide emergency lockout services for clients when necessary
- Stay updated on advancements in the locksmith industry to provide the best services to clients

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in locksmithing or a related field
- Strong technical knowledge of various lock types and security systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills to interact with clients effectively
- Must be physically fit as the job may involve lifting heavy objects or working in tight spaces

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position that requires working flexible hours depending on client needs. You may also be required to work weekends or holidays in case of emergencies. As a Locksmith Technician in Greenland, you will primarily work indoors but may occasionally need to work outdoors in various weather conditions. The job involves a lot of standing, walking, and using hand and power tools, so physical fitness is essential.
