Metal Fabricator



As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for shaping, cutting, and assembling metal structures and products using various tools and techniques. You will work with a variety of metals such as steel, aluminum, and brass to create custom pieces according to specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and bend metal according to specifications
- Operate welding equipment to join metal pieces together
- Read technical drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal pieces to ensure accuracy
- Inspect finished products for quality control purposes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion within deadlines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role
- Strong understanding of metal properties and how they can be manipulated for fabrication purposes
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, grinders, drills, etc.
- Experience with various welding techniques (i.e. MIG, TIG)
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials if required

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Welding or related field
- Experience working with different types of metals (steel, aluminum, brass)
- Knowledge of safety procedures in a workshop environment

Salary: $900 per month
Location: Greenland (visa sponsorship available)
