Solar Installer

A solar installer is responsible for the installation and maintenance of solar panels and other renewable energy systems. They work in a variety of settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites. The ideal candidate for this position would be physically fit and comfortable working at heights, as well as have basic knowledge of electrical systems and construction techniques. This role requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Install solar panels according to manufacturer's instructions
- Conduct site surveys to determine optimal panel placement
- Assemble mounting racks and secure panels in place
- Connect panels to inverters and electrical systems
- Test system functionality and troubleshoot any issues
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation
- Provide ongoing maintenance and repairs for existing systems

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy equipment
- Comfortable working at heights
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and construction techniques
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred:
- Previous experience in solar panel installation or related field
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations pertaining to solar energy systems

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Greenland (accommodation provided)
Visa sponsorship available for non-Greenlandic citizens.
