Preservation Architect - Contract Position in Greenland
We have a unique opportunity for a motivated Preservation Architect to join our team in Greenland. As a contract position, this role offers a flexible and dynamic work environment for someone looking to gain experience in the field of preservation architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and surveys on historical buildings and sites
- Create preservation plans and proposals for the restoration or conservation of buildings
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including property owners and government agencies, to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines
- Monitor construction or restoration projects to ensure adherence to preservation standards
- Document and record information on historical buildings for archival purposes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Strong understanding of architectural history and preservation techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with biometric passport requirements for travel to Greenland
Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Greenland (open to all nationalities)
