Junior Industrial Architect
As a Junior Industrial Architect, you will be responsible for assisting senior architects in designing and planning industrial spaces. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural principles and knowledge of industrial building codes. Your duties will include creating 2D and 3D drawings, conducting site visits, and collaborating with other team members to develop innovative design solutions. You must have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. This is an entry-level position that offers the opportunity for growth within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior architects with developing industrial space designs
- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software
- Conduct site visits to gather information and measurements
- Collaborate with team members on design solutions
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Manage project timelines and meet deadlines
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Strong understanding of architectural principles and building codes
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Flexibility to travel for site visits as needed
Preferred Requirements:
- Previous internship or work experience in an architecture firm or related industry
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices
- Familiarity with BIM software (such as ArchiCAD or SketchUp)
- Fluency in English (Greenlandic or Danish language skills are a plus)
