Entry-Level Fitter (Contract) - Greenland


We are seeking a motivated and skilled Entry-Level Fitter to join our team in Greenland. As a Contract Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing various mechanical components according to specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone without prior experience in the field to gain valuable skills and training.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install mechanical components such as pipes, valves, pumps, and motors
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fit materials
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Identify potential issues or malfunctions and report them to supervisors
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements:
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical diploma or certificate in a related field is an asset
- Experience working with metal or other materials is a plus

Salary & Benefits:
This is a contract position offering a competitive salary of 1100$. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.
