Fitter - Industrial Equipment (Greenland)


We are in need of a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team in Greenland. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining industrial equipment in various settings. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1700 per month, along with accommodation provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Assemble and install industrial equipment according to specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role in an industrial setting
- High school diploma or equivalent; Technical degree or certification is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of different hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with welding equipment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of electrical systems is an asset
- Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces as needed
- Prior experience working in cold climates or harsh environments
- Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of Danish/Greenlandic is a plus)
