Teacher Assistant

As a Teacher Assistant, you will work closely with the classroom teacher to provide support for students in a school setting. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with lesson planning, preparing materials, monitoring student behavior, and providing individualized attention to students as needed. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and positive learning environment for students. This position is ideal for someone who has a passion for education and working with children but may not have prior teaching experience.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Patience and flexibility when working with diverse groups of students
- Ability to follow directions and adhere to school policies and procedures

Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher in implementing lesson plans and engaging students in learning activities
- Prepare materials, resources, and equipment for lessons
- Monitor student behavior and intervene as needed
- Provide individualized support to students who may require extra help
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for students
- Help with administrative tasks such as grading assignments or recording attendance

Salary: $1800 per month (negotiable based on qualifications)
