Instrument Technician
We are currently hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Greenland. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments and control systems used in industrial and manufacturing settings. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair a variety of instruments and control systems including flow meters, pressure sensors, temperature controllers, and more.
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and control systems to identify the root cause and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct routine inspections of instruments to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop new processes or improve existing ones.
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in technology.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Extensive knowledge of various instruments such as pressure gauges, thermocouples, transmitters etc.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Preferred:
- Vocational or technical training in instrumentation technology.
- Experience working with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) is a plus.
