Entry-Level Crane Operator in Greenland

As an entry-level crane operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites in Greenland. Your main goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the crane while following all safety protocols and regulations. This is a contract job with a salary of 1800$ per month.

Requirements:
- Must hold a valid biometric passport
- No prior experience required, training will be provided
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with basic hand signals used in crane operations is a plus

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes to lift, move, and position materials according to job requirements
- Conduct pre-operational checks on the crane and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Communicate effectively with other workers using hand signals or two-way radios
- Keep accurate records of daily activities including materials lifted, distances moved, and any incidents or accidents that occur

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Basic knowledge of math for calculating load weights and distances
- Ability to read blueprints or technical manuals is preferred but not required
