Welder Technician

We are seeking a skilled Welder Technician to join our team in Greenland. As a Welder Technician, you will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication tasks on various projects. You will work with a variety of materials and equipment, including MIG and TIG welders, grinders, and cutting tools.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and drawings
- Measure and mark welding locations according to specifications
- Set up welding equipment based on project requirements
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG and TIG
- Ensure welded parts meet quality standards and specifications
- Inspect welds for accuracy, completeness, and defects
- Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment
- Adhere to all safety procedures while working with hazardous materials
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience in using MIG and TIG welders, grinders, cutting tools, etc.
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods of time

Salary: Starting at $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)
