Welder (Female) - Greenland
We are seeking a skilled female Welder to join our team in Greenland. As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components according to specifications and blueprints. You will use welding equipment and tools to cut, join, and shape metal, ensuring high-quality and precise work. The ideal candidate must have experience in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Measure and mark cutting lines on metal materials
- Use cutting tools to prepare metal for welding
- Set up welding machines based on the job requirements
- Operate various welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and stick welders
- Join metal components using different techniques such as spot-welding, brazing, or soldering
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet specifications
- Repair any damaged or broken welds as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Proven experience as a Welder with expertise in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with hand tools such as grinders, saws, drills etc.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects if needed
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
