Head Pastry Chef


We are in search of a skilled and creative Head Pastry Chef to join our team in Greenland. As the leader of our pastry department, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing all pastry production for our establishment. Your expertise in creating delicious and visually appealing pastries will be crucial in maintaining our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Develop new pastry recipes and refine existing ones to ensure a diverse menu that meets customer preferences
- Oversee the production process, ensuring all pastries are made with precision and attention to detail
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs, providing guidance and feedback to help them develop their skills
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients, ensuring freshness and availability at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create menus that complement each other
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques into pastry production

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, equipment, and safety procedures
- Creative flair with an eye for detail
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred but not required

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Greenland. While we welcome applications from all qualified individuals, candidates with experience working in cold climates will be given preference.
